Inbetween Movies is a new Swiss electro-shoegazing act, enchanting with dream pop and classic indie melodies. Lava, their first single, is embedded in cinematic elements. The track is about chance: nothing is predictable, everything is changeable. The song was inspired by the eruption of the volcano Agung in Bali last year, which the band members witnessed. The seething masses of fire, spit out by the mountain, changed the lives of ten thousands within seconds. The single expresses the musical realisation of this moment.
