Oh Boy (A coffee in Berlin in the english version) is a 2012 German comedy film directed by Jan-Ole Gerster. It is the director’s debut film in black and white, and thesis project for the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin. The film is a self-ironic portrait of a young man who drops out of university and ends up wandering the streets of the city he lives: Berlin. The film deals with the desire to participate in life and the difficulty to find one’s place.
