Mark Whalen is an up-and-coming artist from Detroit, Michigan. His first album, “Someone To Be” debuted in the summer of 2017. He started recording ideas and music when his father bought him an audio interface and a mic for his birthday. From there, he started learning new techniques and experimenting with sounds. He is influenced by bands like Deerhunter, The strokes, Mac DeMarco, Girls and Marvin Gaye between others. This is an unofficial music video with footage from the movie Grease.
